Characteristics:

  • Form number E.T. No. 10 continued from the Interim period forms.

First line of handwriting contains the letters RP denoting Reply Paid.

Shows serrations below which the Reply Paid section and mwssag would have been recorded. The lower section would have been rtained at the Telegraph Office.

Complete reply paid telegram sent from Melbourne to Maryborough, Vic (7 July 1923).

Characteristics:

  • Form number changed to E.T. No. 10;
  • two sections to be separated across the perforations;
  • top section is original telegram and ends with the words "REPLY PAID" as required;
  • lower section records the money already paid for the reply (here 1/-) and is used to record the reply message for transmission;
  • the heading is very similar to that used for the 1921 delivery forms.

The only recorded complete partially used Reply Paid form from the Establishment period.
